Lewis Voices

Windows Fine Arts Magazine is an annual online and print publication that features the winning submissions to the Windows Contest.Entries are accepted from two classifications, students and faculty/staff/alumni, in the categories of visual arts, writing, and musical composition.

First prize is awarded $100, publication, and a certificate. All other awards receive publication and a certificate. The intent of the magazine is to highlight the creative talents and accomplishments of the members within the Lewis community.



Jet Fuel Review is a student-run, faculty-advised national literary journal that publishes poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and artwork in addition to book reviews and interviews. Initiated in Fall 2011 by English Studies department intern Mary Egan,  publishes a diverse array of emerging and established authors/artists from around the world. In 2019 and 2020, JFR received the CMA’s (College Media Association) Pinnacle Award for “Four-Year Literary Magazine of the Year.” They have also received a designation of “Excellent” from the NCTE and received recognition as one of the on Michael and Sara Biggs Chaney’s website. JFR runs an accompanying , which publishes articles written by students on a variety of inspired topics while providing features of Lewis students, alumni, and faculty.
