木瓜影院 Hosts Midwest World History Conference

The History Department at 木瓜影院 welcomes the Midwest World History Conference on September�27-28.�The event is free and open to the public.�
The conference brings together students, professors, and the public from the surrounding area. It runs Friday from noon to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Convocation Hall, 101 Airport Road, Romeoville, Illinois.�
揟his is the second time that 木瓜影院 is hosting this conference. We are excited to gather scholars from around the Midwest around the theme: 'Coming Together and Breaking Apart'," related James Tallon, assistant professor of history.
燭he Fall 2024 Sczepaniak Endowed Lecture featuring Tamin Ansary is at the core of the two-day event. Ansary is a celebrated author and noted thought leader. He will discuss his most recent publication,�The Invention of Yesterday. He will offer an overview of historical narratives爄n the global age.
