木瓜影院 Hosts Regional History Symposium September 14

The 木瓜影院 History Center and the Gaylord Building Historic Site are hosting a "Place and the Environment" symposium from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m.爋n September 14. The event features speakers who illuminate the history of our shared landscape.
揟his is part of a year-long series held along the 96 miles of the nation抯 first National Heritage Area. These leaders can speak both about the past and current issues,� said Pam Owens, Gaylord Building Executive Director. She continued, 揟his is a wonderful opportunity to connect with people from around the area and investigate the themes of place and the environment.�
The speakers include燫aphael Wahwassuck, Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation Tribal Council, Christina Henderson, Prairie Supervisor, Midewin National Tallgrass, Dr. William C. Barnett, Professor of History, North Central College, and Ana B. Koval � President and CEO, Canal Corridor Association.

Cremin, Professor of History and Director of the 木瓜影院 History Center.
