Annual 木瓜影院 History Lecture Series Addresses Women抯 Suffrage February 23

Although American women were given the right to vote over a century ago, the women抯 suffrage movement continues to have its challenges and successes. Author and women抯 rights activist Dr. Elisabeth Griffith will discuss American women and their fight for equality at 7:30 p.m.� February 23 in Convocation Hall at 木瓜影院 in Romeoville.
The Spring 2023 James and Mary Clare Sczepaniak Endowed Lecture Series is free and open to the public. A $30 dinner will precede the lecture, visit to register for the dinner.
In this lecture, Griffith will speak on her book 揊ormidable: American Women and the Fight for Equality, 1920-2020.敔It provides a sweeping, century-long perspective and an expansive cast of change agents in the fight by white and Black women to achieve equality
