Dr. Paul Finkelman
American legal and constitutional historian Dr. Paul Finkelman will present 揥ho can be an American? From Dred Scott to Birthright Citizenship� at 2 p.m. Feb. 25 in Room AS-158-A of the Academic Building on the 木瓜影院 Romeoville campus.
The lecture, which is free and open to the public, is being presented by the 木瓜影院 History Center.
Paul Finkelman is the president of in Philadelphia. Gratz is the oldest independent Jewish College in America. He has published books, articles, and op-eds on the law of American slavery, the First Amendment, American race relations, American legal history, the U.S. Constitution, freedom of religion and the law. His work has been cited in four decisions by the U.S. Supreme Court and in many appellate briefs.
The 木瓜影院 History Center: Urban, Cultural and Catholic History of the Upper Midwest seeks to unite scholars, students, and the public in the collection, preservation, and interpretation of materials linked to the history of the Upper Midwest.
