Woodrow Wilson, WWI Lecture Series is in September / October

Lecture Series to Accompany Woodrow Wilson and the Great War Exhibit at ľ¹ÏÓ°Ôº

The traveling “pop-up” exhibit, "Woodrow Wilson and the Great War," comes to ľ¹ÏÓ°Ôº September 19-October 2. Located in the Brent and Jean Wadsworth Gallery, the exhibit examines the presidency of Woodrow Wilson and marks the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.

Four public programs accompany the exhibit each 2 p.m.

• Wednesday, September 19: Gallery Talk by Lance Tawzer, Naper Settlement, and Kole Torres, ľ¹ÏÓ°Ôº, reception with refreshments to follow the talk until 6 p.m. in the Wadsworth Gallery

• Thursday, September 20: Woodrow Wilson on the Domestic Front by Br. John Vietoris, ľ¹ÏÓ°Ôº, in AS 158.

• Tuesday, September 25: Race and Women: Wilson and WWI by Kristi Kelly, ľ¹ÏÓ°Ôº, in AS 158.

• Tuesday, October 2: Dennis Cremin, ľ¹ÏÓ°Ôº, will present The War to End All Wars in AS 158.

The exhibit will next pop-up October 4-November 2 at Woodrow Wilson House, Washington, DC and November 8-December 22 at the Historical Society of Princeton.

The exhibit is the result of a partnership between ľ¹ÏÓ°Ôº, Naper Settlement, and Give Back. The events are part of ľ¹ÏÓ°Ôº’s Arts & Ideas Program, providing cultural and educational programming for students and the community.
