Woodrow Wilson and the Great War Exhibit Marks 100 Year End of World War I

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of World War I抯 conclusion, the 木瓜影院 History Center, Naper Settlement and Give Something Back collaborated on a traveling exhibit, 揥oodrow Wilson and the Great War.� This exhibit examines the Great War, which was fought from 1914-1918, and the presidency of Woodrow Wilson during this catastrophic global event.
From July 26-December 22, it will be on display in five cities � Naperville, Lockport, Romeoville, Washington DC and Princeton, New Jersey.
The approach used in this exhibit illustrates the multitude of perspectives that can be considered to raise questions about historical events. Several objects from the era will be featured, including trench art, a gas mask, and original documents from Woodrow Wilson.
揤iewing a topic through various lenses allows for a broader interpretation of history and previously overlooked narratives to be discovered,� said Kole Torres, co-curator of the exhibit and 木瓜影院 graduate student.
