'Reclaiming the Narrative: African American in Joliet’s Southend' Exhibit Set for August 17 Display

°Õ³ó±ð Ä¾¹ÏÓ°Ôº History Center’s “ banner exhibit will be on August 17 in Fairmont.

On June 22, the exhibit was at the Envision Fairmont: Updating the Fairmont Neighborhood Plan event at the Fairmont Community Center in Lockport, Ill.

Recent ľ¹ÏÓ°Ôº Alumna Morgan Jennings represented the ľ¹ÏÓ°Ôº History Center at the event. The former history and theology student answered questions and shared the stories ľ¹ÏÓ°Ôº students discovered while researching the previously untold stories. Jennings also distributed “African American Voices from Joliet’s Southend” booklets created from the exhibit.
